- To make matters even worse, their helpline was abysmal.
We are extremely disappointed with Checkatrade and would urge using their services. There are much better alternatives out there. We feel sorry for having wasted our money on this disappointing service.

Was Checkatrade a Total Fraud?
We thought we were doing the right move by using Checkatrade to find a reputable plumber/electrician/contractor. After all, they seemed so legitimate with their vetted traders. Boy, were we wrong! Our experience was nothing short of a disaster.

We Paid, But Never Saw the Work: Checkatrade Fail.
My rundown with Checkatrade became a total disaster. I booked a trader through their platform to handle some essential home repairs. They appeared reliable at first, but it turned out a appalling ordeal.
Although I paid the full amount upfront, the work was never done. Communication ceased. It's been a truly agonizing period, and I'm still left with a house in disarray.
The platform itself has been unhelpful throughout this whole process. They offered no solutions. It feels like I've been taken advantage of.
- Stay far, far away from Checkatrade.
